GAIA Collective is a sustainability strategy studio founded and led by Naika Colas, bringing over 15 years of experience across climate-conscious product development, community engagement, global supply chains, and circular business transformation for fashion and beauty brands. Our work supports companies in building responsible, future-focused systems that integrate environmental stewardship with thoughtful design and innovation. Naika’s background as a full-time Assistant Professor of Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design, a trained fashion designer, and former Head of Sustainability for a retail merchandising company serving luxury beauty clients—including YSL, Giorgio Armani, Carolina Herrera, Tom Ford, and Tatcha—grounds the studio in deep industry knowledge and practical expertise.

GAIA Collective also provides specialized consulting in sustainable cannabis farming, advising entrepreneurs, brands, and community organizations on building environmentally responsible cannabis operations from the ground up.
